pigeons nest bed & breakfast is a great place on top of a hill, offering a peaceful retreat away from the main town. the staff is incredibly welcoming, with nuwan and akram going out of their way to make us feel at home. we loved the cozy fireplace in the common area, which added a nice touch to our evening relaxation.

Some rooms suffer from a lack of heating, making it quite cold, especially during the night when temperatures can drop significantly. Multiple guests have reported issues such as mold on the walls and persistent humidity, which can leave bedding and towels damp. this isn’t ideal for comfort.

I was amazed by the stunning mountain view and the cozy homestay atmosphere, where I enjoyed heartwarming conversations with the welcoming hosts.

Be prepared for cold nights since there’s no heating. Make sure to arrange food options prior to arrival, as local dining choices around the area are limited.

During my stay, I found the room quite chilly at night, which made sleeping difficult. There were limited dining options nearby, forcing us to make arrangements ahead of time. the hospitality, while warm, did not make up for these inconveniences during our visit.

Had an awesome time during our stay, especially enjoying the cozy fireplace in the evenings and relaxing in the living room with good Wi-Fi while watching the rain. There are great relaxation areas and comfy spots to unwind, making it a perfect hideaway. Just a heads-up, the room was a bit chilly in the mornings, so pack an extra sweater! 😊

the place is super cozy and has a nice homely vibe. we loved the garden view from our double room, it was settle and peaceful. the hospitality was on another level, made us feel like family. the younger son is really helpful and attentive, he made our stay special. breakfast was a delight, especially their sri lankan options.

the room sheets felt a bit damp and the wi-fi didn't work in our room. it got pretty chilly at night, so prepare for that.
